As a Not-for-profit Student-run Entrepreneurship Cell, our mission is simple yet profound: to transform students into the architects of tomorrow's employment landscape, bridging the realms of technology, vision, and business acumen.
Sowing the Seeds of Ideas in KJ Somaiya
At BloomBox, we believe every engineer carries the potential to be a pioneer. Our journey begins with cultivating experiential learning, nurturing the seeds of entrepreneurship in the minds of students. We're not just teaching business; we're inspiring students to speak the language of innovation.
Our garden has three primary focus areas, each a unique petal contributing to the vibrant bloom of BloomBox.
1. Core Business Here, we delve into the essentials—idea generation, understanding how technology solves problems, demystifying the workings of banks, exploring micro-finance, decoding the language of stock exchanges, and venturing into the realms of venture capital and private equity. It's the foundation upon which successful enterprises are built.
2. Intellectual Property:Â Just as flowers need protection, so do ideas. We emphasize the importance of intellectual property in today's business world. We guide students through prior art searches, teach the art of drafting essential documents, and navigate the landscape of technology licensing. In our garden, intellectual property is a precious flower.
3. Allied Topics: Beyond the roots of core business and the blossoms of intellectual property, BloomBox extends its branches to topics that enrich the entrepreneurial ecosystem. An Entrepreneurs' Forum becomes a space where minds meet and ideas collide.
